Hi, I’m em.

I’m a mum, a step-mum, a wife, a daughter, a musician, a teacher, a coach. I love music, books, the theatre, philosophy, psychology and the universe.


I have worked in education for 23 years where I have undertaken many roles such as class teacher, subject lead, year lead, key stage lead, choir director, assistant headteacher, safeguarding lead, inclusion manager and SENCO. I have worked across all key stages from Year R to Year 11. I hold a BA Hons degree in English with Education with Qualified Teacher Status.

-Hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Practice: National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination whereby I undertook ‘A child-centred, needs-led research project to promote a holistic learning experience for all and highlight the need for experiential learning in a post-pandemic education system’ entitled How does experiential learning shape the educative experience of pupils with trauma and anxiety? 

-Worked as an SLE (specialist leader in education) where I undertook rigorous training within the area of coaching. 

-Qualified at Level 3 in Philosophy for Children, which enabled me to become a facilitator.

-Qualified as Senior Mental Health Lead with Creative Education and undertook a small intervention project based around creating a focus in order to manage and alleviate anxiety.

-Completed Lead Professional training which enabled me to work with vulnerable children and their families and the teams of professionals connected with that child.

-Undertook a Teaching and Learning Project called ‘Find Your Why - a Planning for Engagement Toolkit’ using the Simon Sinek books Start With Why and Find Your Why.

-Led a Boys’ Reading Club, which was cited in a National College paper entitled Closing the Gap with the new Primary National Curriculum September 2014.

-Developed a Creative Curriculum within a school following research I conducted on experiential learning through the voice of the child. 

-Hold Level 1 certification in Team Teach Positive Behaviour Training.

-Am a National Education Union Representative.

-Completed training on Advanced Safeguarding for DSLs.

-Hold music qualifications with Trinity College of Music.

-Am a singer/songwriter with 4 bands.


My Approach

My belief  is that every individual has the capacity to achieve and has the right to reach their full potential. I believe that inspiring people motivates them to persevere and ultimately succeed. I am passionate about this ethos and believe everyone should have the chance to fulfill their aspirations.

I am able to provide a wealth of opportunities to help others embrace challenges, persevere through adversity and find inspiration.

I am passionate about promoting the individual characteristics that make people unique and supporting resilience and determination to engage with each new chapter of life.

I am committed to ensuring that every client develops positive attitudes towards life and personal development.

My passion, energy and drive encourages clients to develop into confident, creative, independent, motivated, engaged and resilient individuals who propel themselves forward on to the next exciting stages of their lives.
